moneylab provides end-to-end financial planning support and advice to our clients, focusing on cash flow management, investments, SMSF, superannuation, and risk management. Our clients see us as their trusted finance partner in life and we use our expertise to guide them to financial freedom. We are looking for someone to support our Financial Planners to deliver a premium financial service to our clients. Our team of Senior Financial Planners will guide you along the way and lay the foundation for you on your way to providing your own financial advice.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Planners, your duties will include, but not limited to:
Produce Statement of Advice documents including but not limited to: conducting research, insurance analysis and assisting in the development of strategies.
Being the direct support for the financial planners in client meetings
Building relationships with our clients
Conducting comprehensive research of financial products as required
Developing an understanding and knowledge around SMSF, superannuation, investments, risk management, debt management, and cash flows for individuals, families, and businesses
Having your education standards in line with the current FASEA Code of Ethics policy
Implementation of advice recommendations
To be successful in this position, you will have completed a degree in Business/Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Financial Planning from an approved provider at a minimum:
Ideally completed RG146 (or presently studying)
At least one year’s experience in a Financial Planning role.
A passion for pursuing a career in Financial Planning
Good communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
An ethical approach and focus, and knowledge of the new Code of Ethics
A persistent, proactive, and career-driven individual with a strong work ethic
Self-motivated and always keen to learn
Strong sense of responsibility and independent problem-solving skills

Successful applicant will desirably hold:
Certificate IV Finance and Mortgage Broking
Strong Salesforce experience
Current drivers license
Excellent presentation skills and confidence to deliver face to face consultations
A professional approach with strong communication skills
Ambitious with a drive to achieve sales targets
Previous experience in a similar role
